I've decided to try and write here more often, though I'm not sure why. My blogging fanaticism comes in spurts and I write on various websites for given amounts of time. I'm weird like that.
I've been thinking lately that I should apply for a position as a camp counselor here at SMC for the fine arts camp this summer. It would be a good experience and it will teach me patience. God knows I need it. Maybe I can help turn some people around and shoo them off in the right direction (i.e. away from the flock). Maybe I can show them how to think for themselves...or, at least, plant the idea so they'll be interested in learning to do so.
I'm getting over a rather nasty though brief bout of mono. This is not a fun virus and I do not recommend it for anyone. Avoid it at all costs, especially if you hate doing nothing.
I should probably head out. Aristotle calls.
